Connect File Request Pro to an AI assistant that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol) connectors, such as Claude or ChatGPT, and ask it about your collections in plain language: who still owes you documents, what exactly is missing, which files need review. It can also act for you: send a Workflow request, chase a client, accept or reject a file.
The assistant works through your own account and team. It sees what you see in the dashboard, and every action it takes is one you could take yourself. AI connections are included in every paid plan and during your trial.
Use this connector URL:
https://filerequestpro.com/mcp
When you add it, the assistant opens a File Request Pro sign-in page. Log in, check the app name and where you'll be sent back to, then choose Approve. There is no API token to copy.
claude mcp add --transport http filerequestpro https://filerequestpro.com/mcp, then /mcp to sign in.The assistant acts on the team you have selected in File Request Pro. To work with another team, switch team in the dashboard first.
Read: your account and plan, pages, Workflow requests (status, due date, pending items, email history), submissions and form answers, files and temporary download links.
Act: create a collection page with the fields you agree on, create a request, update a request (due date, contact, status), send a reminder, accept or reject a file, and duplicate a page.
It can't delete pages, requests, submissions or files, edit forms or emails, or change settings.
Tell the assistant what you need to collect and who from. It suggests a page name and a list of fields for you to review; change, add or remove fields, and it creates the page once you confirm. It can create an Upload page for a shared link or a Workflow for personal requests, then return the page's public link, an edit link and a link to connect cloud storage.
If your assistant shows prompts from connected apps, choose Set up my first collection page to start this conversation.
Pages can use text, email, paragraph, number, date, file upload, checkbox, dropdown, multiple choice and checkboxes fields, each with optional help text. Fields are required by default; ask for optional fields where needed. Page creation counts toward your plan's active-page and form-field limits and requires a team owner or admin.
New pages have upload notifications addressed to you and the standard emails for Workflows. Uploaded files stay in File Request Pro, with an email for each upload, until you connect Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint or Dropbox from the storage link (your page's Integrations settings). Use the edit link to customize fields, branding or emails. Creating a page does not send invitations; ask separately to send a Workflow to a client.
For advanced fields or conditional logic, use the dashboard builder.
Open Settings → AI connections to see each connected assistant and when it was last used. Choose Disconnect to cut off its access immediately. To use it again, connect it again from the assistant.
